ABOUT

Cenorin has a history of innovation that dates back over 50 years. Our founder, Richard Radford, began addressing unmet needs for important clinical issues starting in the 1970s. Not only did his early efforts improve patient safety, they also added significant economic value to the delivery of healthcare. Subsequent innovations have become the accepted standard of care throughout the world.

Under Mr. Radford’s leadership, Cenorin has developed a suite of reprocessing systems since 2020 that focus on the ability to enable the safe reuse of semi critical and non-critical devices. These devices are typically manufactured using a variety of plastics that can significantly impact the healthcare waste stream when discarded following single patient use.

Cenorin also addressed the opportunity to improve workflow in the reprocessing space with the application of improved design and technology. The functions of cleaning, disinfection and drying of medical devices have been streamlined and provide process improvements in several departments including Sterile Processing, Diagnostic Labs, Respiratory Care and Sleep.

The Cenorin team is composed of dedicated professionals who care about making safe reuse of medical devices a high priority. Our team includes experienced clinicians, healthcare administrators, graduate engineers, and research scientists. Our focus on improving the safety of reprocessing extends to the concerns about cost reduction and the implication related to sustainability. We refer to this mission as ecoProcessing.

Current examples of this focus include the recent release of the 50 Series medical dryer systems, featuring advanced capabilities and greatly enhanced drying throughput, with savings of time and inventory for central processing departments.
